Where Do You Go When You Need Computer
Help?
If it’s a brand new computer, you can usually call a toll-free number and get help that way, provided you have enough food and water to last the entire time you’re on the phone. If it’s not under warranty, maybe you have a friend who’s an IT professional and is willing to help you out for free… again.
The best solution is to hire
a skilled computer professional to come over and straighten things out.
Unfortunately, many skilled computer professionals are
not skilled customer service professionals, and
these visits can be awkward and something to
be avoided – unless
you’re comfortable with geeky computer wizard
lingo.
What you're really looking for is someone you would be comfortable having as a guest in your home who understands
computers and computer users. You want someone who’ll provide professional service at a rate you can afford.
You need one of the experienced customer service professionals from Clearpoint Computer Services.
For any kind of computer help, please call us today. We use proven troubleshooting techniques and a systematic step-by-step computer cleaning process. We’ll fix what’s wrong, restore lost performance and protect your computers against security threats … and make living with computers easier.

There is no travel fee for home visits within Worcester County. For home visits outside Worcester County a modest travel fee is charged to cover travel time
(based on $30/hr of driving time).
No home user willl pay more than $269 in labor to service a single computer. If your computer has a broken part that needs to be replaced, that will add to the total cost. The good news for homeowners is that the cost of hardware replacement parts continues to gradually drop. Parts that break the most are the mechanical ones - hard drives and CD/DVD drives, and almost all of them cost well under $100 each.
The length of time we spend in your home depends both on the nature of the problem and how new your computer is. Newer, faster computers complete tasks quicker, allowing us to spent more time fixing and less time waiting. We will do our best to give you an idea of how long your service call will last once we have a good handle on what's wrong. Most service calls take an hour or two.
Occasionally, Clearpoint Computer Services may need to take a computer back to our shop to repair really tough problems, and return it to you within 48 hours. However, this does not happen very often.
Forms of payment accepted are: cash, personal
checks & money orders. Payment is due at
time of service.
